Meet the Staff

Vincent
Paragano
Managing Member/Certified Assisted
Living Administrator
Vincent, along with his Brother Larry,
is the designer, developer and operator of
Paragon Village. He is a third generation
builder and developer.
Vincent is a Certified
Assisted Living Administrator. He holds a
Juris Doctor Degree [1980] from America
University and Bachelor Degree [1977] from
Rutgers College. He is also a Henry Rutgers
Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa
[Rutgers University Chapter].
He has served on the
Boards of Directors of Fortune National Bank
and Bernardsville Little League. He was a
member of the Bernardsville Board of
Education. He was also one of the founding
members of Jersey Artists for Mankind, an
organization dedicated to feeding the hungry
and homeless of New Jersey.
He is married to Kathryn
(a Physical Therapist Assistant). They have
three children (Matt, Jenn and Laura). His
hobbies include motorcycling, fencing, scuba
diving and photography.

Larry
Paragano
Managing Member/Licensed Property
Manager
A graduate of
Villanova University, Larry has been in the
construction and management field his whole
life. In addition to his business endeavors,
Larry donates significant time to his
philanthropic and civic activities such as the
Mendham Township Board of Education, The Joint
Library of the Mendhams, the Pastime Club of
Mendham, and the Early Childhood Learning Center
(ECLC). Larry and his wife Mary have four
children and in his off hours, he enjoys golf,
softball, and paddle tennis.

Kim Polachek

Kim comes to
Paragon Village with more than nine years of
experience in the senior care industry. She is a
Certified Assisted Living Administrator. In her
position of Executive Director she is
responsible for overseeing the daily operation
of the Community as well as assuring compliance
with all governmental policies. Her enthusiasm
and passion for enriching the lives of seniors
is a true asset to our community. While
attending Seaton Hall University, where she
received an undergraduate degree in Sociology,
Kim was a nationally ranked collegiate athlete.
Currently working towards an MBA, Kim enjoys
spending her free time with her husband and twin
sons, Tyler & Jake. She has been an avid
volunteer and active member of her towns first
aid squad for many years.

Peter King,
Director of Marketing, has over seven years
of marketing experience in Assisted Living,
Alzheimer's Assisted Living and Skilled
Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities. He has
overseen the marketing departments in
individual, campus and regional healthcare
facilities. His affiliations are:
Member of the NJ Business and Industry
Association's Health Affairs Committee,
Member of the Essex County Coalition for the
Protection of the Vulnerable Adult, Charter
Member of the Passaic County Healthcare
Marketing Group,
Paragon Village Representative to the:
Morris Sussex & Warren County Chambers of
Commerce, Warren County Senior Expo
Committee Member. Past member of the Board
of Directors for the Lakeland Hills Family
YMCA in Mountain Lakes, Past president of
the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce (which
represents Boonton, Boonton Twsp, and
Mountain Lakes), Past president of the
Boonton Economic Development Committee,
Member of the Walter J. Barrett Council &
assembly of the Knights of Columbus and a
catechist for the St. Clement Church in
Rockaway Twsp.
Peter & his wife , Yvonne, who owns an
beauty salon in Boonton, live in Rockaway
Twsp. with their three children Tim, Alyssa
and Greg, Yvonne's Dad and a little rat-dog
named Otis.

Our Business
Office Manager comes to Paragon Village with
over 20 years of financial experience, 12 of
those being real estate management experience.
She enjoys working with seniors and people in
general. She is friendly and eager to help both
residents and employees with their questions.
She is the proud mother of three adult children
and the proud owner of a Golden Retriever.

Joan Cummins

Joan Cummins
who has worked with seniors in both the private
and public sector, is certified as an activities
director and as an Arthritis Foundation exercise
instructor. She brings her enthusiasm and sense
of humor to Paragon Village and promises to keep
the residents mentally and physically active
through the variety of programs she and her
staff offer. Joan resides on her families’ farm
in Warren County with her husband, three
children, horses and dogs. When not busy with
all of that, she volunteers as a 4-H leader. She loves to chat so stop
by for a visit and maybe she will perform her
famous cartwheel for you!

Donald
Denise

Our Director
of Building Services, Donald Denise, brings
to Paragon Village over 21 years of
facilities management experience. Donald has
spent the past seven years specializing in
meeting the needs of residents in assisted
living communities, nursing homes, and
senior living residences. Donald has
experience working for major corporations,
as well as, family run businesses. Don is
well known by our residents and is
ever-present taking care of our grounds,
maintenance, housekeeping and security. He
is also a Certified Assisted Living
Administrator. Don and his wife, Marlo, have
two young children, daughter, Samantha and
son, Gavin. He also serves the community as
a volunteer firefighter.

Sid Church
Food Service Director

Sid comes to
Paragon Village with over 25 years of food
service experience. He was a graduate of
Denville Vocational Tech in Culinary Arts
and is certified by the state of New Jersey
as Food Service Manager, as well as, being
ServSafe certified. Sid is also a member of
the Greater New Jersey Society of Health
Care Food Service Administrators. As Food
Service Director, he is responsible
for overseeing the daily operation in all
food service areas to insure that all
residents are satisfied with their dietary
needs. Sid lives in Netcong with his wife,
Susan, two sons, John and Steven, as well
as, his dad known as "Grandpa". Sid was a
voluntary middle school wrestling coach for
ten years for Lenape Valley Junior
Wrestling. In his spare time, he loves to go
to estate auctions, bike riding and
kayaking.

Margaret
Kaliczynski, CDP
Willows Coordinator
Margaret is a
Certified Dementia Practitioner who brings
over 15 years of geriatric experience along
with her positive and enthusiastic
personality to our Dementia unit, "The
Willows". She is a highly motivated
professional who has the ability to
positively influence and stimulate those
with memory disorders. She is active with
the Alzheimer's Association and enjoys
interior decorating, art and spending time
with her husband and two sons.
